Line 2000 - Restoration of track and track bed
The 2000 Dortmund - Hamburg line was stabilized in the Werne (km 8.000 to km 12.231) and Ascheberg (km 26.268 to km 28.200) sections with a cofferdam-like retaining structure made of sheet piles with a reinforced concrete waling.

The work was carried out entirely on track. The installation of the 65,000 m² of sheet piles was carried out with leaders, for which the track was prepared in sections. In addition, 5,500 m of track were renewed, including substructure, underground cable laying and laying work, as well as the construction of new rescue stairs and routes.
